Chinese Ambassador Lin Xianjiang presents copy of credentials to Dominican Foreign Minister Darroux

On November 16, 2021, H.E. Lin Xianjiang, new Chinese Ambassador to Dominica presented copy of his credentials to Hon. Kenneth Darroux, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and Diaspora Relations of Dominica. 

Ambassador Lin conveyed cordial greetings and best wishes from State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, saying that over the past 17 years of diplomatic relations, China and Dominica have forged a relationship of mutual respect and mutual benefit, with enhanced political mutual trust, advanced pragmatic cooperation and strengthened people-to-people bond. Ambassador Lin noted it is a great honor to be Chinese Ambassador to Dominica and he is willing to work with Dominican Foreign Ministry to take China-Dominica relations to a new height and make new contributions to the China-Dominica community with a shared future.

Foreign Minister Darroux extended his sincere greetings to State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, noting that Dominica, as a firm supporter of the one-China policy, has always attached great importance to its relations with China. Dominica wishes to work with China to advance friendly bilateral cooperation for the tangible benefits of the two peoples. Foreign Minister Darroux pledged to provide all necessary courtesies and facilitation as Ambassador Lin assumes office and is confident that Dominica-China relations will see greater progress in Ambassador Lin's tenure.
