On November 17, 2021, H.E. Lin Xianjiang, Chinese Ambassador to Dominica met with Mrs. Melissa Skerrit, wife of Prime Minister of Dominica and Parliamentary Representative for Roseau Central. The two sides exchanged views on China-Dominica relations.

Mrs Skerrit extended welcome to the arrival of Ambassador Lin. She spoke highly of the progress achieved in the Dominica-China relations, and thanked China for consistent support to Dominica's national development and improvement of livelihood. She also pledged to make new contributions to the Dominica-China friendship and closer people-to-people exchanges.

Ambassador Lin thanked Mrs Skerrit for her contributions to the development of China-Dominica relations and assistance to the work of the Embassy. He promised to continue to enhance the bilateral friendship and all areas of pragmatic cooperation for the benefit of the two peoples.
