On November 3, 2019, H.E. Lu Kun, Chinese Ambassador to Dominica attended the celebrations of the 41st Independence Anniversary of Dominica at Windsor Park Stadium in Roseau. H.E. Charles Savarin, President of Dominica and Mrs. Savarin, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of Dominica and Mrs. Skerrit, all Cabinet Ministers, Hon. Lennox Linton, Leader of the Opposition, members of diplomatic corps as well as representatives of other circles also attended the ceremony.

After the ceremony, Ambassador Lu attended the reception held by the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of Dominica and had friendly talks with Hon. Francine Baron, Dominican Foreign Minister and other representatives of diplomatic corps.

On November 4, Ambassador Lu was also invited to attend the reception held by H.E. President Charles Savarin at the Dominica State House and cordially talked with President Savarin. On behalf of the Chinese government and people, Lu also extended sincere congratulations to the Dominican government and people.
